Anesthesia Provider Compensation Averages 2022

Writer: Goldpoint HealthGoldpoint Health

Are your providers being compensated well? Take a look at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) averages for Anesthesiologist and CRNA's 2022, which surveyed its 55,000 members.

Overall the national average for anesthesia providers compensation has increased of $4,400. However in some regions providers they have seen a slight decrease.

Let's look at each region and see what the numbers say.

While some might look at the above data and start preparing their Jeep Wrangler to make the trek across the Oregon Trail to the Salt Lake Valley, let's not start stocking up on ammo for deer and LR and Ampicillin for the dysentery just yet. It has been a strange couple of years with lot's of changes, so it is natural to see some contraction in some regions.

The good news is if you are focused in an area of practice you might have seen an increase, regardless of what region you are in. Whatever the case may be we can rest assured that Anesthesia Providers are and will remain crucial to patient care, and continue to be compensated as such.

Goldpoint Health Systems' PROVIDER CASE Automated Reporting makes it easier for provider groups to assess things like, monthly and total compensation, deployment/shift loads, etc. And allows for setting the billing rates for specific provider type, facility, or even specific providers, so you can easily bill hospitals and surgical centers the correct amounts to ensure your providers are compensated quickly and correctly.
